On the day when the country fell off the cliff, she went from being a bright and arrogant princess to an orphan girl collecting herbs in a border town who was bullied by others. She hid her bloodline totem, sealed all her spiritual power, smoothed all the edges and corners, and survived for more than a hundred years. She is haunted by old dreams every night, and her only obsession is that that year when the ferry was empty, her brother who promised to protect her for life failed to arrive, leaving her alone to face the desperate situation and fall into the abyss. She thought that she would be left in poverty and contentment for the rest of her life, but businessman Qi Jue rashly broke into her world, silently resolving the crisis for her, and providing her with all the support. His brows and eyes were gentle and familiar, making her dodge again and again, and her mind was disturbed. She was puzzled. He was clearly a stranger, but he treated her with all his favor, and his eyes were full of guilt. It wasn't until the layers of fog were lifted that Sang Qi was shocked to know that the gentle stranger who protected her was the one who owed her more than a hundred years of life. A parting in troubled times, a half-life journey to atone for one's sins. Is the belated reunion a redemption, or a new round of fateful prison?
