Li Er was going to send Princess Wencheng to Tubo for a political marriage, and her procession happened to pass through Wei Yan’s territory. Just then, the System awakened:
“Ding! Congratulations, Host, you have received a transmigration starter pack! Rewards: an immortal, ageless body; the power to make your imagination real; and 3 uses of the ability to make others immortal and ageless [Expression]...”
Wei Yan, who had been a bandit in the northwest, was instantly filled with confidence about this kidnapping.
“Boss, I heard the group below is escorting a Tang princess to Tubo for a political marriage. Maybe we shouldn’t rob them?”
Wei Yan said, “Stop talking nonsense! That’s all the more reason to rob them! They’re trading a woman for the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty. Have all the men in the Tang Dynasty died?”
With that, Wei Yan charged alone into the wedding procession and snatched Princess Wencheng away.
On their wedding night.
Princess Wencheng advised him, “You’ll die a horrible death if you keep this up.”
Wei Yan smiled faintly. “Death is the one thing I’m least afraid of now.”
