The Six-Fingered Farmer's Daughter

One morning, small-time landlady Su Liu woke up and found she had transmigrated! “Since I’m here, I’ll carve out a place for myself,” Su Liu said, clenching her fist. But the truth was: Su Liu, female, eldest daughter of the impoverished Su family, born with six fingers and infamous as an ill omen even overseas. At home, she had a foolish, indulgent mother; outside, a vicious second branch of the family; above her, an awful grandfather and grandmother; and below her, a scheming half-sister. Su Liu gently stroked the fingers wrapped in strips of rag and sighed. “Making it to the top with six fingers is going to be hard!” [This is a work of fiction. Please do not imitate.]
