The Fog Lifts over Hong Kong Island

[Pure and alluring designer] [Cool, aloof heir to a financial empire] [Extreme push and pull] [Bows to love] [Both are each other's first]

The second time Sang Yu met Xi Jinbai, she treated him as her last lifeline and did the boldest thing she had ever done. "Can I stay by your side?"

He was silent for a long while, then replied coolly, "No strings attached. That’s fine."

Later, rumors swirled about his impending marriage to the most sought-after heiress in Hong Kong. Sang Yu regretfully bowed out. "If I can’t wait for him to love me, then I’ll let him go."

And let herself go, too.

When they met again, Sang Yu was the founder and designer of her own original brand, while he remained the same distinguished, extraordinary heir. They should have been strangers, yet he kept closing in on her.

On a night of torrential rain, Sang Yu was trapped at the banquet venue. The man stepped forward and took her wrist, lowering himself as he spoke in a deep, unhurried voice. "I’ll take you home."

Sang Yu pulled away and kept her distance. "Young Master Xi, please stop here."

Everyone knew that the unattainable Young Master Xi was distinguished and self-possessed, restrained and level-headed, and indifferent to love to his very core. But later, he fell hard for the lily he had nurtured himself.

"I’ll wait for the person I love to come back to me."
