Shen Fei, the top genius of Lieyun Palace, loses an arm in an accident and falls from grace. Humiliated by his fellow disciples and betrayed by his childhood sweetheart, he is eventually forced to leave Lieyun Palace and is sent to its subordinate Changning Sect.
A strange cultivation technique, the Heavenly Remnant Demon Art, is hidden inside an arm-shaped pendant. Clinging to this last lifeline, Shen Fei uses the powerful technique to rise above the rest at Changning Sect. From then on, his brilliance dazzles the world, and he soars to the top!
Three years later, standing once more before the gates of Lieyun Palace, Shen Fei's calm voice rings across the sky: "I have returned!"
Yet this is only the beginning of another story, and the arm-shaped pendant is merely one fragment.
