My 1995 Small Farm

With a pocket-sized paradise in hand, Chen Ling returns from the prosperous future to 1995 and accidentally builds himself a hidden utopia...

Raising chickens and ducks, playing with the dog, and herding cattle.

On quiet days, he spends two or three days hunting in the mountains. When work gets busy, he sweats it out in the fields, with silver and gold piling up at home.

The honey from the cliffs tastes wonderful, and the fish and shrimp in the streams are a delight.

Fishing, picking melons, planting fruit trees.

Settled in his hidden utopia, he enjoys the songs of the countryside and its beautiful landscapes, working at sunrise and resting at sunset. There’s no end to the joy of it...

Also titled The Riches of the Mountain Manor.

A friendly heads-up: The first three chapters are a little angsty, mainly to set things up. Things improve by chapter five, and after that it’s mostly farming and daily life! This is a novel about someone who doesn’t want to build a career, just lie flat in a mountain village!
