This is a world where people observe the stars to obtain star-soul powers and create all kinds of powerful cards.
Jiang Zhao, an astronomy and stargazing enthusiast, transmigrates into this world and discovers that all the constellations he once knew are still here.
So, during the ritual to obtain his innate card, Jiang Zhao decisively uses his natal star, Merope, as the starting point and lights up the Sun Rooster, one of the Twenty-Eight Lunar Mansions.
From then on, he embarks on the path of a cardmaker, beginning with the Sun Rooster and setting his sights on the Purple Forbidden Enclosure.
Huh? His soul from a previous life has a natal star too, and so his second innate card, Scorpio, is born!
“What are the poisonous creatures and ferocious beasts in those netherworldly domains? Just a pile of spicy strips!”
“So you’re the Machine God? I hear you’ve got a sturdy frame.”
“So you’re the Beast God of the Spirit World? Dare to take on my Four Divine Beasts?”
“What kind of evil thing from the starry sky is this? Take my Star Soul Fusion Technique, the Twenty-Eight Lunar Mansions!”
“Here’s another Star Soul Fusion Technique: the Twelve Zodiac Signs!”
“What? You want to invite the Pegasus to join you? Sorry, that kid’s been a little busy lately.”
“Young man, do you want to join the Lunar Mansion School or the Zodiac School?”
