Note: The protagonist, Xu Shu, is a native of the late Han dynasty, and the story follows a path of supporting the Han.
In the first year of Xingping, Xu Shu, fleeing the ravages of war, meets someone who claims to be a transmigrator. He tells Xu Shu that he must choose the rightful lord to restore the Han dynasty. So Xu Shu, who should have headed south to escape the chaos, turns back east in a daze and takes a fork in the road of life.
That year, warlords rise across the land, and the fighting never ceases. The realm is devastated, and the battles that the transmigrator sees as glorious are a deadly trap Xu Shu must face. His first task is to survive, then figure out how to make use of the transmigrator.
Before finding Liu Bei, he must make himself even stronger than he was in history.
