The first Spider-Man: “With great power comes great responsibility.”
The second Spider-Man: “Heroes are always lonely.”
The third Spider-Man: “My dad is Iron Man!”
A Spider-Man from some universe: “This run’s gone to hell. Restart! Restart!”
Xia Luo transmigrates into the Marvel Multiverse and, by sheer luck, becomes that universe’s Spider-Man.
But he’s also got plenty of bad luck.
He doesn’t have the super strength of the first Spider-Man, who stopped a train.
He doesn’t have the lightning-fast reflexes of the second Spider-Man.
And he definitely doesn’t have the high-tech nanotech suit of the third Spider-Man.
His stats are far lower than those of Spider-Men from other universes, while the villains in his world are absurdly powerful.
He can’t win. There’s just no way!
Fortunately, all he has to do is get himself killed, and after he dies, he can enter a resurrection match in the American comics universe. If he wins, he’ll be resurrected and receive all kinds of rewards.
During one resurrection match, Xia Luo stares at a corrupted Superman with the same red-and-blue color scheme and falls into deep thought.
“This is the championship match, and I can’t win. There’s just no way!”
“Restart! Restart! I want to restart this resurrection match!”
