What kind of sparks will fly when Daoist arts collide with magic? Is there more to Voldemort's Horcruxes than meets the eye? Is teaching Neville swordsmanship somehow missing the point?
Zhang Xiao was reborn in London's Chinatown. He never imagined that his parents, who made their living telling fortunes from a street stall, actually knew Daoist arts. And he certainly never expected to receive an acceptance letter from Hogwarts one day.
P.S. No putting one side down to praise the other. I hope this book can flesh out the world of Harry Potter, rather than having someone kill Voldemort with a single sword spell and steamroll the Wizarding World.
P.P.S. The Daoist arts are set at a level slightly above what you see in Uncle Nine's films. The power levels won't get ridiculous: the focus is more on the worldbuilding than on strength. If you're looking for a xianxia story where Daoist arts trample the West and crush Voldemort, this isn't for you. Think more along the lines of Uncle Nine's Daoist arts mixed with Qimen Dunjia.
