It all begins when Lin Qingshan submits a comic adaptation of the anime Edge Runner, setting off on a path to becoming a mad (wen) comic (chao) artist (gong) in another world.
And then...
“Uh-oh! A cyberpsycho! Call the anti-terrorism tactical unit!”
“Run! He's a comic-book lunatic!”
“That's amazing! I'm beginning to understand everything!”
“No, seriously, who let him draw comics?”
“Quick, use the Flame Fist on him!”
“Is he insane? Who comes up with a plot like this?”
“He seems to be doing well mentally! Discharged!”
“You're going in too!”
“Hahaha! I've made it, Daoist!”
Edge Runner, Chainsaw Man, Flame Fist, Attack on Titan, Dao of the Bizarre Immortal... Lin Qingshan is completely out of control on his road to madness, and all the manga fans agree: Lin Qingshan is a lunatic!
