The Female Magistrate of Dayong

One decree to summon snow, one edict that spells death. The former Minister of Justice of Dayong dies a sudden, gruesome death, and a formidable crime-solving woman bursts onto the scene to hunt down his killer. She is Su Rao, a top criminal investigator from the 21st century, skilled at both autopsies and solving cases. But after dying in an accident, her soul crosses into another world, where she becomes the daughter of a disgraced official, falsely accused of murder and stripped of his post. When her father is unjustly killed, how can she stand by and do nothing? She will investigate the case to the very end! A courtesan murders her husband, an ancient Buddha weeps tears, a corpse lies at the bottom of a lake, ghostly shadows haunt an ancestral hall… The mastermind’s schemes run deep, and the forces at play are intricately entwined! A shocking bloodbath from eighteen years ago sets the martial world and imperial court ablaze, provoking the wrath of the throne. “Women should obey the Three Obediences and Four Virtues, serve their in-laws, and support their younger brothers-in-law!” “For a woman to judge criminal cases is like a hen crowing at dawn, throwing the court into chaos!” “I’ve never heard of a woman performing an autopsy!” … She is the one who performs autopsies and solves cases, and she is the one who fights the enemy and defends her country! Though a woman, she can wield her pen to judge cases and set the court in order, or mount her horse and wield a blade to bring the world to heel! Power and prestige are hers, along with a life of glory! (There’s a male lead, there’s a male lead, there’s a male lead, so don’t worry about diving in, my darlings!)
