A scheme turns her into its most important pawn. Not only is her engagement called off, she's also thrust into the eye of a public storm. If she can't afford to provoke them, she can at least hide, or so she thinks. The cunning, scheming “player” sticks to her like glue, impossible to shake off.
Five years later, a little boy points at the beautiful woman surrounded by layers of security and tugs at his father's leg. “Is she that female bodyguard who abandoned her husband and child?” The man glances at his gleeful son. “She only abandoned the child. She didn't leave her husband!” They never got a marriage certificate, so it doesn't count as abandoning her husband!
Stung by the merciless rebuttal, the little boy fumes. “One day I'll make her get a marriage certificate with you, and then abandon her husband!” The man is pleased, though he has absolutely no faith in him. “The revolution isn't over yet, little comrade. You still have work to do!”
The little boy pumps his fists, lifts his chin, and charges toward the female bodyguard on his short legs. For the revolution, he'll give it everything he's got!
