A tiny butterfly flaps its wings, and the story takes a completely different turn.
Dark Angel Devon travels through time into the Angel Civilization of thirty thousand years ago, becoming the illegitimate son of Angel King Hua Que, with a half-brother, Hua Ye, who shares the same father.
And so, thirty thousand years ago, this scene unfolds:
Devon stands aboard an angelic warship, looking down with contempt at Hua Ye, who is in a wretched state below, consumed with fury.
From then on, Devon's resounding voice hangs over Hua Ye's life like a nightmare...
"Oh, my foolish brother."
"If you want to kill me, then hate me! Despise me! Go on living an ugly life. Run as hard as you can, and cling to life as best you can."
P.S. Those who nitpick, please stay away.
P.S. This synopsis does a good job of explaining the protagonist's identity and background. It doesn't mean the scene described here will actually appear in the novel, so don't get hung up on it.
