Meng Changqing traveled through ancient times and disguised herself as a man since she was a child in order to protect her family property.
Because he offended the concubine by beating the prince, he was sent to the far north to be a minor official.
The emperor was so guilty that he couldn't sleep because of the punishment he had to do.
Meng Changqing was so happy that he packed his things overnight and left Beijing before dawn.
Great, so great! After being a grandson in Kyoto for thirteen years, I am finally liberated!
From now on, she, Meng Changqing, is free!
She wants to go to Beishan County and become a local emperor!
But the moment the carriage entered the county town, she was dumbfounded.
What's going on?
Is this a county town or a refugee gathering place?
The people were so hungry that they ate dirt and most of them froze to death.
She had no choice but to temporarily put aside the idea of becoming a local emperor and collect things bit by bit for the people under her rule.
Lead them to grow sweet potatoes, teach them to build earthen kangs, and slowly bring them to the level of food and clothing.
