This is the best of times! Japanese anime is filled with the era's irritability, with nothing moving about it. There is no Hikaru no Go, no Detective Conan, no One Piece, no Dragon Ball, and certainly no Naruto. The works that once set the light novel world ablaze have yet to appear. There is no Sword Art Online, no Haruhi Suzumiya series, no A Certain Magical Index, and certainly no Monogatari series. Not to mention the Gal games that took the ACG world by storm: Key's four masterpieces, Feng's Sky Trilogy, Type-Moon's Tsukihime and Fate, White Album... In their place are other excellent works. Just as Yi Qing is about to build his own empire of the virtual world... Huh?! Kirino Kosaka, Mashiro Shiina, Utaha Kasumigaoka, Udon no? S-combination... How did you jump out of the virtual world? What! This world is the virtual world itself?!
