After unexpectedly transmigrating to a parallel world, Li Chang'an becomes a military publicity officer.
He means to follow his superiors' orders and make a proper recruitment ad. But when he realizes that most of the young people in this world are lost in a life of luxury and indulgence, Li Chang'an turns around and makes a television series called Soldiers Sortie!
Military commander: We agreed this was a recruitment ad. How did it become a cultural phenomenon?
TV station: We've never had ratings this high!
Recruitment office: Too many people have signed up this year! We request that the leadership send more staff!
Li Chang'an looks at the scripts in his hands for Bright Sword, My Chief and My Regiment, Year Hare Affair, The Battle at Lake Changjin, and a string of other productions, then sends his message to the world:
Look at the young people of Great Xia today. One day, they will soar above the heavens and stand atop the world!
Years later, generation after generation of young people inspired by Li Chang'an's works solemnly swear beneath the red flag: I pledge the youth of my generation to defend this prosperous China!
