The figure slowly rising within the barrier looked down at the man below, whose face was twisted in pain, and spoke calmly.
“No one stands in the heavens from the very beginning. Not you, not me, not even God. No one starts out at the top. But the vacancy on the throne of heaven is about to come to an end.”
He reached up to remove his glasses and swept his hair back.
The plain glasses that had concealed his ambition were quietly crushed in his palm.
“From this day forward, I will stand above the heavens.”
In short, this is a story set in the world of the Hokage about someone who has Aizen’s memories.
