He Says I'm His Little Fairy

[Cool and aloof, secretly passionate honor student [expression] Milk-scented, delicate and frail sweet girl]

Jiang Chi was raised at her aunt's house from a young age. Later, her mother brought her to live with the Song family, where she could enjoy a comfortable life, but her little sister accidentally shoved her, causing a car accident.

She became a plant for two years. When she unexpectedly woke up, she had no family left. After she fainted downstairs in the hospital's inpatient building, Cheng Jin took her home.

He complained more than once that she was a bother, but whenever her frail health made her collapse, he always took care of her himself.

The innocent and straightforward Jiang Chi liked relying on Cheng Jin. It wasn't just because he was even-tempered and did well in school.

One day, Cheng Jin took Jiang Chi to the supermarket to buy daily necessities. When they reached the feminine hygiene aisle, he was about to ask which brand she wanted when he glanced down and saw her staring longingly at a young couple nearby. He asked, "Why are you looking at them?"

Jiang Chi asked, puzzled, "Why can that boy hold that girl's hand?"

Cheng Jin patiently explained, "They're a couple. It's normal for them to hold hands."

Jiang Chi slowly raised her hand and thought for a moment. Then she reached out and touched the hand Cheng Jin had resting on the shopping cart. "My hand is pretty. You can hold it."

Cheng Jin: "?"

He raised an eyebrow and chuckled. "Do you want to date me?"

"Do you have to be a couple to hold hands?" Jiang Chi pondered carefully.

Cheng Jin coaxed her. "Mm-hm. If you're not a couple, then you're taking advantage of someone."

Jiang Chi was a little slow on the uptake. She stared straight at Cheng Jin's other lovely hand, hanging at his side. "Then I'll date you... Will you hold my hand?"

"Sure." A smile suddenly rippled in his eyes.
