A boy leaves his home to escape famine and find food. Beginning with gathering medicinal herbs, he sets out on the path of cultivation: refining medicine, tasting poisonous plants, and testing remedies... In a world where corpses litter the land, he survives with the tenacity of a weed.
Cultivating, refining qi, building a foundation, forming a core, and nurturing a nascent soul: while cultivating, gathering herbs, refining pills, and crafting tools in a world of immortals and heroes, he farms and builds in his Violet Palace, gathering true essence. The pleasures are endless.
