Sweet Consort Jiujiu

He was Beichen Yue, the cold and ruthless Ninth Prince of the Beichen Kingdom, a man who dealt decisively with his enemies.

After he was framed and lay at death’s door, his grandfather appeared in the current emperor’s dream and said that if Mu Jiujiu, the youngest daughter of the richest merchant in Jiangnan, married the Ninth Prince to bring him good luck, he would wake up at once.

But after waking, he was utterly disgusted by the marriage. “Can you embroider? Play the zither? Play chess? Hah! You can’t do anything, and you still expect to marry into my Prince Yue’s household? Take her to the back courtyard!”

“My dear, look, I embroidered these mandarin ducks for you…”

“Would you like me to play you a tune of ‘The Phoenix Seeks Its Mate’?”

“My dear, one more move and you’ll lose. Would you like to take it back?”

Mu Jiujiu: …

Help! My husband keeps face-slapping himself every day. What should I do!?
