“Your Majesty, do something about your son-in-law Wei the Fool! He’s challenging those ministers to a fight outside the East Gate again!” a minister ran into Ganlu Hall and shouted to Li Shimin. “That Wei the Fool is an absolute menace! Pass down my verbal order: no fighting at the East Gate!” Li Shimin shouted angrily. “Come on, let’s go to the West Gate. We can’t fight at the East Gate!” Wei Hao shouted at the ministers outside the East Gate.
