Chen Yan’s hundredth blind date went a little off the rails.
Because the guy arrested his date.
“Since this is a blind date, let’s get straight to the point!”
“Your salary is too low, and your apartment is too small... Honestly, if you weren’t handsome, this date would already be over.”
Chen Yan’s date was clearly unimpressed with his situation.
“How about this: put the apartment in my name, and have your family buy a car worth five hundred thousand. Then we can see where things go.”
Chen Yan was a little hesitant and dumbfounded. This woman was more direct than he’d expected, and more... pragmatic.
“Adding my name to the deed isn’t about the money at all. As for buying a car... to put it bluntly, it’s just one month’s salary for me.”
“But you’re hesitating over something that simple... You’re so stingy.”
“Heh. If there’s nothing else, I’ll be going.”
His date looked haughty. With a single “heh,” she pronounced the blind date over.
But Chen Yan felt that ending his hundredth blind date just like that might be a little hasty.
“Miss, whether I’m stingy is beside the point. But I’m afraid you can’t leave.”
“What? A policeman wants to cling to me now? Or are you trying to make me pay? Heh. Waiter, the check!”
Her eyes held not only arrogance, but contempt.
Cling to her? Make her pay?
“No need to pay!” Chen Yan expressionlessly pulled out a pair of handcuffs.
“Stand up and put your hands on your head. You’re under arrest!”
