Liao Mingyu, an elite soldier in a special forces unit in southwest China, unexpectedly transmigrates during a mission to Chanda, the world of My Chief and My Regiment.
Long Wenzhang, Meng Fanle, Mi Long, Bu La, Yao Ma, Dou Bing, the Veterinarian, Officer A Yi, Sangmenxing, Krupp... One vivid character after another appears before him. Will they continue down the tragic path of their cannon-fodder regiment, or will he awaken their fighting spirit and lead them to achieve something extraordinary? The answer rests entirely on Liao Mingyu's decision.
"I'm your commander! Anyone who wants to live, follow me! I'll take you home! Cannon-fodder regiment? What a load of crap! My regiment will be a battle-hardened force that dares to fight and win. I'll turn you into an invincible sword, an army of steel that never backs down!"
