The world undergoes a global transformation, calamity descends, and demonic creatures run rampant.
To fight them off, the world becomes digitized. Everyone can awaken a combat or support class at eighteen, then grow stronger by leveling up through killing demonic creatures.
Lu Yan awakens the weakest combat class, Necromancer, from the start, but obtains the Class Support System and undergoes a second awakening into the hidden class Necromancer Lord.
“Necromancers are so squishy. One hit and they're done.”
“This guy's so unlucky. Sure, he awakened a combat class, but it's the weakest one. All he can do is summon a few skeleton soldiers, and they're not much use.”
“Plus, Necromancers are rare, so there's hardly any experience or resources to inherit. His prospects are bleak, too.”
“Hahaha! I awakened as a Paladin. The all-rounder you've been waiting for is here!”
Not long after, Lu Yan is clad in a Netherworld Death Armor, wielding a Soul Scythe, with an army of a hundred thousand undead behind him. One swing of his scythe cleaves an Epic-grade demonic creature in two.
You say Necromancers are weak? What does that have to do with me, a Necromancer Lord?
