Journey to the West: I Am the Hundred-Eyed Demon Lord

Reborn as a giant centipede in the mountains, he has a small furnace inside him that can fuse the divine powers of countless demons.

He rules the mountains, and all the beasts flee at his approach. When hungry, he eats spirit fruit; when thirsty, he drinks from clear springs. He absorbs the essence of the sun and moon and devours the spiritual energy of Heaven and Earth, living a carefree life. He even has a little cousin who spends all day holed up inside a ruined temple, in the statue of a Buddha.

He thought he could spend this life in leisure, until he unexpectedly learned about the Journey to the West and realized he was caught up in a tribulation without even knowing it.

With the gods and Buddhas of the heavens watching him, what should he do when he’s not strong enough to fight them yet?

Answer: Join them.

Standing atop Spirit Mountain, he gazes at the magnificent golden form.

“Why is the Buddha staging a rebellion?”
