She was an obstetrician and had an unforgettable love, but in the end she couldn't withstand the intervention of her mistress. She signed a divorce agreement and sadly turned around with the fetus in her belly.
He is a legend in the business world, and he loved her deeply and unforgettably, but he encountered the cruel reality. His beloved wife died, and their son who was only two months old was also gone.
She had met him several times, and she had a deep impression of him. He had never accompanied his wife during her prenatal check-up. She needed his signature during the delivery, but could not find anyone. She thought he was an irresponsible husband, but...
In the intensive care unit, he knelt in front of his beloved wife's bed and said in tears: "Others can give birth smoothly, why can't we?"
Having worked in the obstetrics department for many years, this was not the first time she heard this sentence, but it still worried her.
A year later, when she met him in a coffee shop, she said directly: "Do you want to be my daughter's stepfather?"
She didn't know everything about him, but she knew that his wife died of amniotic fluid embolism and that his son failed to be rescued in the end. Within two months, he lost his beloved wife and son. She also participated in the rescue at that time. She would never forget what his wife said to her before she died. She would not tell him this secret.
He also recognized her and did not find her words offensive. After being surprised, he said indifferently: "A year ago, I lost my wife and child."
"I know, I'm divorced and have a daughter. If you want, I'll meet you at the Civil Affairs Bureau at nine o'clock tomorrow. You're allowed to be late. If you don't come after ten o'clock, I will find another partner." After she finished speaking, she walked out of the coffee shop.
