Zhang Xuan transmigrates to the Journey to the West world, where demons run rampant and powerful beings are everywhere.
Worse still, he finds himself in a desolate wilderness. Any monster that shows up could swallow him whole…
Just as he's at a loss for what to do,
Zhang Xuan obtains a sign-in System!
As long as he signs in at a special location, he can claim incredible rewards!
As he's marveling at his good fortune,
a monkey with a furry face and a thunder-god's beak suddenly comes over and asks, peering around,
“Excuse me, are there any immortals in these mountains?”
…
Zhang Xuan smiles faintly and decides to hitch a ride with the monkey and become a disciple of Patriarch Bodhi at the Cave of the Slanting Moon and Three Stars!
He secretly signs in beside the monkey and obtains the Lingming Stone Monkey's innate talent. The System then transforms it, allowing him to fuse with an Innate Spirit Body!
Patriarch Bodhi asks in surprise, “I clearly remember that only this monkey came to seek instruction today. How did someone else suddenly turn up?”
Many years pass.
Zhang Xuan has cultivated the Eight-Nine Arcane Arts, the Great Celestial Immortal Method, the Thirty-Six Heavenly Transformations, the Seventy-Two Earthly Fiend Transformations, and more, all obtained through sign-ins at the Three Star Cave, to their absolute limits.
Then comes the day when
his fellow disciple, Sun Wukong, causes Havoc in Heaven.
Zhang Xuan steps forward and, with a flick of his finger, slays a hundred thousand Heavenly Soldiers and Generals. He punches Erlang Shen and kicks down the South Heaven Gate.
In an instant, the gods and Buddhas across the heavens are stunned.
Sun Wukong is even more shocked.
“Senior Brother, you said you didn't know martial arts!”
“Stop pretending. You're an unparalleled master!”
