A single edict from the Earl, calling for a son-in-law, grants a baron's good-for-nothing second son a noble title, a territory, and the chance to save thirty years of hard work.
But this territory is not easy to claim. It is the notorious Land of Misfortune, and when the good-for-nothing second son learns what it is like, he is scared to death. Just then, a soul from Earth possesses his body…
What? The Land of Misfortune?
This is clearly the Land of Fortune!
Can't you see how well I'm living?
Can't you see how happy my serfs are?
Dark creatures?
Sorry, they're just deliveries…
This is a wondrous world where meteor showers appear in the sky every Sunday.
The falling meteor showers have a certain chance of giving birth to wondrous treasure-element sprites.
The sprites known so far are:
Green sprites, which increase crop yields.
Purple sprites, which randomly improve the quality of plants.
Yellow sprites, which cause the land to randomly contain a certain mineral.
Blue sprites, which turn the land into a habitat favored by a certain creature.
Of course, most of the time, the meteor showers bring dark creatures rather than sprites…
