“Boss, are you so desperate for money that you've lost your mind?”
“You're asking me for 500,000 for this scruffy husky?”
The pretty girl with a ponytail cradles a husky puppy with an especially intelligent look in its eyes. She stares at Lin Ye as if he's a completely unscrupulous swindler.
“Miss, I must make one thing very clear: this is not a scruffy husky!”
“Don't try to fool me!”
“It's true. It has the bloodline of a Cerberus, and limitless potential.”
The girl is almost taken in by Lin Ye's pitch.
But then she thinks it over, decides the claim is far too absurd, and says in a rather uncouth tone:
“Really? I don't believe it!”
Lin Ye beckons to the husky in the girl's arms.
“Little guy, hop down and show your future owner what you can do!”
“Go!”
“Awooo!”
With a howl, the girl watches in terror as the little husky spits a fist-sized fireball from its mouth.
Years later, Lin Ye, hailed as the “Father of Beast Taming on Blue Star,” says wistfully in an interview:
“It all began with a scruffy husky.”
Meanwhile, in a villa, a huge red dog with three heads sneezes, then howls twice at the television in front of it: “Awooo!”
