In the fifteenth year of Hongwu, Han Cheng transmigrates into the bed of Princess Ningguo and spends the night there.
She is Zhu Yuanzhang's eldest legitimate daughter, and his most beloved child! When Zhu Yuanzhang hears the news, he flies into a rage!
Faced with the furious Old Zhu, who wants to skin him alive and use him as fertilizer, Han Cheng can only reveal that he is a transmigrator to save himself.
Zhu Yuanzhang naturally refuses to believe him.
But the many extraordinary things Han Cheng demonstrates afterward leave Zhu Yuanzhang no choice but to believe that Han Cheng really is from several centuries in the future.
Once he believes Han Cheng is from the future, Old Zhu decides to ask him a few questions.
Zhu Yuanzhang: My younger sister's illness can definitely be cured!
Han Cheng: It can't. She'll die in twenty days...
Old Zhu: My Biao'er is exceptionally talented. He'll definitely become a wise and virtuous ruler!
Han Cheng: He died before he could take the throne.
Zhu Yuanzhang: Yunwen has been benevolent and filial since childhood. As emperor, he'll ensure the Ming thrives!
Han Cheng: As soon as he took power, he abolished all your policies!
Zhu Yuanzhang: Old Fourth is utterly loyal. He'll surely protect our Ming dynasty!
Han Cheng: He rebelled.
Zhu Yuanzhang: With the excellent policies I established, the Ming will last at least seven or eight hundred years!
Han Cheng: It fell after a little over two hundred years.
Zhu Yuanzhang: I imposed a sea ban and abolished the Maritime Trade Office to keep the Ming coast peaceful, so the people wouldn't suffer from pirate raids!
Han Cheng: The sea ban only made the Japanese pirates more rampant. It reversed the course of history and cost us the chance to be first in exploring the world!
Zhu Yuanzhang: My descendants in later generations will surely make me proud.
Han Cheng: Absolutely. One of them even became the Ming's God of War!
Zhu Yuanzhang is overjoyed. His descendant had achieved such distinction? Even Xu Da hadn't earned that title!
Then he learns the truth, and Zhu Yuanzhang falls apart!!
