The Emperor’s Brocade

This is a shocking story hidden behind a usurpation.

Plot:

After her elder sister's death, Baojin returns across the sea. Assuming the identity of the deceased princess of Beijun, she reenters the imperial capital, vowing to turn the game of fate around.

The new emperor, who seized the throne, is cold and brooding, yet harbors strange feelings for Baojin. He and the empress seem deeply in love, but their relationship hides a disturbing and terrifying secret.

Baojin's sister Jinyuan was born astonishingly brilliant and beautiful. She once ruled as emperor in men's clothing, but left behind only a reputation as a tyrant, and her remains were never found.

A mother-of-pearl mask and a page from a yellowed love letter stir up tremendous turmoil in a capital that seemed calm on the surface.

On the final night, as bells and drums ring out, a thousand palace gates swing open one by one. What fate will be revealed to all?
