Su Jing, a female worker in the spinning workshop, guards the roaring spinning machine and lives a serious life amidst the sound of cotton batting and machines day after day. A sudden danger occurred in the workshop, and a co-worker's long hair was caught in the machine. This thrilling accident allowed her to understand the weight of factory safety and also see through the warmth between people in ordinary days.
Neighbors stay with each other in the compound, and workers help each other. Zhou Kai, who also works in the machine repair shop of the factory, is a neighbor who grew up together in the compound and is enthusiastic and helpful in times of trouble.
