The ancient "Guixu" collapsed due to the catastrophe and was divided into nine realms: Yuan, Soul, Spirit, Body, Nether, Light, Machine, Blood and Time. The nine realms are separated by the "ruin sea" of chaotic void. In Qingshi City, a small town on the border of Yuanjie, Gu Chen, the son of a blacksmith, has been dependent on his father Gu Dachui since childhood. When he was sixteen years old, he accidentally awakened the "Source Devouring Body" - a forbidden physique that can swallow, analyze, and be compatible with the original power of all realms. From then on, he was hunted by the Qingyun Sect and coveted by all forces. He was forced to leave his hometown and embark on a long road across the Nine Realms.
The Nine Ruins Envoys awakened, and the tide of returning to the Ruins came early. Gu Chen must find the clues left by his mother Shen Qingwu before the Nine Realms completely collapse, close the opened doors one after another, and finally face the Ruins Lord - the ancient will that tries to swallow the origin of the Nine Realms and return everything to chaos.
He swallowed the whole world's malice in order to spit out a better world
