It Was Only Physical Attraction, So How Did Mr. Lu Fall So Hard?

Yan Shuyi and Lu Huai have been married for three years through an alliance between their families.

They are passionate and intimate in bed, but discuss only work outside it. They are the perfect partners.

When Lu Huai's first love returns to the country and Yan Shuyi unexpectedly discovers she is pregnant, their seemingly unshakable marriage alliance is suddenly on the brink of collapse.

Raised from childhood to be a rigorously trained heir to a powerful family, Yan Shuyi weighs the pros and cons and makes her decision:

She will hide her pregnancy and let Lu Huai have the love he wants, in exchange for a long and lasting partnership between the Yan and Lu families.

To avoid becoming the discarded wife of a wealthy family in the eyes of the public and bringing shame upon the Yan family, she secretly looks for a suitable man to marry into her family.

She also plans to find a new father for the child in her belly.

But the Lu family's most cold-hearted and composed heir suddenly loses control.

When she twists her ankle, he carries her and rubs it for her. When she hits someone, he hands her a knife and cleans up afterward.

When members of the Yan family bully her, he throws money and resources at them with a domineering flourish.

Even when his first love comes to cause trouble in front of her, he deals with her swiftly and decisively.

The more Yan Shuyi thinks about it, the more dangerous it seems. With her pregnant belly, she kicks him out of bed.

"Mr. Lu, we're only married through a family alliance. You're crossing the line!"
