Lu Chen, a former genius profiler of the Ministry of Public Security, went into self-imposed exile after his sister Lu Zhaozhao disappeared in the "Egret Case" and became a plastic surgeon for corpses in a funeral parlor in the west of the city. Three years ago, he found that all the mirrors were broken in the murderer's house, and his name was written in blood on each piece - that was the first time he came into contact with the truth of the "Mirror Realm".
Mirror world, reflection of reality, time flow rate is 1:24, cause and effect are reversed. When the movements of the person in the mirror are out of sync with yours, it means that it has awakened. If it touches you first, you will be reduced to a reflection; if you anchor it first, you can borrow its power.
When Lu Chen was performing plastic surgery on a "suicidal" female corpse, his face in the mirror was torn off, revealing the face of his sister. As a result, he was involved in a conspiracy that lasted for three hundred years: Zhaoyingzhai, an ancient organization that casts mirrors from living people, is hunting "awakened ones" and trying to open the "Gate to Two Realms". And Lu Chen is the incarnation of the "evil god" eye that was sealed by the first generation master three hundred years ago - he is a mirror that has become a spirit.
As the investigation deepens, detective Shen Qingshuang enters the situation. When she was seven years old, she switched identities with the person in the mirror. In reality, she is the "reflection", and in the mirror world, she is the "original body". The two went from being suspicious of each other to sharing life and death. On the multi-front battlefield between the mirror world and reality, the two fought against the Zhaoying Studio, the Mirror Cleaner Organization, and the first-generation Zhai Master "Wu Xiang" in the mirror who recovered from the seal.
When the door between the two worlds finally opened, Lu Chen discovered that the so-called "reality" is the largest mirror world, and the mirror world is the exiled real world.
