At two forty-seven in the morning, Shen Ye was replenishing goods.
A man covered in blood rushed in, stuffed a bag of stuff into the freezer, said, "Don't touch it," and then collapsed.
Shen Ye squatted down and touched the pattern with his hand. A line of words appeared in my mind:
"Sequence ability: Shadow Devour (No. 037). Status: Inherited by dying. Do you want to accept it?"
He stood up, locked the door of the convenience store, and hung a "Closed" sign.
Then squat back and reach out again.
——
Shen Ye, 24 years old, works the night shift at a convenience store. The hourly wage is 18.5 Yuan, I sleep during the day and work at night, and my sense of presence is extremely low.
But he has a secret: he can see the sequence patterns flowing on other people's bodies, and can dismantle, reorganize, and devour any sequence ability.
The price is that every time you swallow it, you will lose your memory, your body will mutate, and you will be backlashed by the remaining will of the original sequence.
Moreover, the sequence ability he devours will release a "smell" that attracts other sequence holders to come closer.
Thirty years after the revival of spiritual energy, there are about 1,200 sequence holders around the world. No one knows that the "original sequence", the source of all sequence abilities, is hidden in every awakened person and is slowly awakening.
No one knew that Shen Ye was the successor to the 0th position in the previous generation's sequence.
——Sequence Devouring, convenience store night shift, seventy-two hour countdown.
——Start from a convenience store and swallow up the entire sequence world.
