The Strange Clan

A thousand years ago, the Ghost Emperor led his people in an invasion. Humanity's ancestors drove nine Heavenly Ghost Nails through him, pinning him to the throne of the Central Domain and securing a thousand years of peace.

A thousand years have passed. The Ghost Sovereign has awakened, and the seal is weakening.

Lin Yuan, an eighteen-year-old boy who tends his family's ancestral coffin shop, was born with a ghostly constitution. Deep within him slumbers a will more ancient than the Ghost Emperor himself.

He thinks his parents simply disappeared. He has no idea that he was born to be the most crucial piece in this thousand-year game of chess.

The moment an acceptance letter from the Quantum Academy arrives at the coffin shop, the gates to the world of ghosts swing wide for him.
