"City League of Legends" - story summary outline
World view setting
Underground in Yongchang City, a coastal central city, there are ancient earth veins that nourish all things but no one knows about. Whoever controls the earth's veins controls the lifeblood of the city.
Thunder Night Awakens
Night shift electrical engineer **Witt** accidentally touched the awakened leyline crystal core while repairing the underground power grid on a typhoon night, and was penetrated by ten thousand volts of "life-bearing current" but survived the disaster. From then on, he was able to sense and control the city's current, and the lights of thousands of houses were all extensions of his eyes and hands.
Masked vigilante
Witt is still an ordinary engineer during the day, and at night he patrols the city with a mask: rescuing children from fires, stopping robberies at the last moment, and pulling back hostages who fell from a bridge in heavy rain. Citizens call him "Pulse Light Man", but the media debates: hero or outlaw?
Bottom of the undercurrent
The undercurrent of the underworld organization has surfaced: the leader "Grey Screen" infiltrated the police station and municipal government, extracted the energy of the earth line to create a blackout crisis in the city, and framed the Pulse Light Man. Witt became a wanted criminal overnight. His identity was exposed, his best friend was kidnapped, and his reputation was ruined. In the darkest moment, he only had the light that refused to be extinguished.
·Dawn Battle
Witte teamed up with the righteous reporter and the down-and-out police officer to lure the snake out of the hole. On a night when the lights were turned off in the city, he fought to the death with Gray Screen on the top of the clock tower in the heavy rain. He used himself as a conductor to trigger the backlash of the earth's veins, eradicating the Undertide Society in one fell swoop. At dawn, the lights of thousands of houses were lit again.
Epilogue
Heroes remain nameless. Witte still clocked in to work and made repairs late at night - but every heartbeat of the city was on the same frequency as him.
