The Story of a Stubborn Couple

After successfully studying the sutras, Zhu Bajie was granted the title of Envoy of the Purification Altar. He wasted his time in a muddle-headed manner. However, after being tricked by Wukong into having fun in the mortal world in private, he was found by Guanyin and sent to the Tathagata Hall to be punished. Unexpectedly, after Wukong made some adaptable pleas and excuses, instead of being punished, he was greatly praised by Tathagata Buddha and was appointed as the Inspector of the Three Realms on the spot. Later, he was awarded the title of Pioneer of Reform and Inspection in the Three Realms. Therefore, in order to accumulate good karma and swear to attain Buddhahood, Bajie and Sun Wukong used their tenacity to break through the rigidity of thousands of years. They traveled to the mortal world, entered secret realms, swept the underworld, and subdued Lingshan. They laughed and punished corrupt officials, eliminated traitors, and quelled demons. Through countless real historical events and experiences along the way, Bajie shed his stubbornness, settled his character, and finally accumulated supreme good deeds. A pair of stubborn couples work side by side to break the situation and reform the way of heaven against the will of heaven. They will eventually subvert the old three realms and open up a new world of prosperity. It was not until later that he revealed his true feelings about advancing to the Buddha's position to Tathagata and the Jade Emperor, and the result was unexpected.
