It Comes from the Stars

Zhang Wei, a high school physics teacher in a northwest county, originally lived a routine middle-aged life until his wife Wang Hong bought back a bright yellow second-hand Toyota with a strange origin, and his peaceful life was completely shattered. Wang Hong first stood stiffly on the balcony late at night, uttering mechanical syllables that no one could understand. Then his temperament changed drastically, day and night were reversed, and he actually mastered university physics and top-notch geological knowledge without a teacher. She disguised herself as a returned doctor of geology, hacked into the core databases of overseas universities, traveled around the country's top academic circles, and frantically stole confidential data on minerals, strata, and ocean sediments. Zhang Wei, who was full of doubts, followed secretly and witnessed the supernatural phenomenon of blue light seeping from the car body, hanging gravel, and frost instantly when the light beam swept through the Beishan quarry. He confirmed that his wife was parasitized by the silicon-based alien consciousness that fell to the earth. With years of physics skills, Zhang Wei used a copper mesh to build a simple Faraday cage and successfully trapped alien consciousness. After the confrontation, he learned that the other party was a survivor of the crashed interstellar scientific expedition team. He needed to collect three special crystals from volcanoes, deep seas, and salt lakes to build a signal array to contact the mothership. In order to save his wife, Zhang Wei reached a cooperation with his brother-in-law and embarked on a thrilling journey to find crystals across volcanoes, deep seas, and no man's land.
