Your Wind Blew Through My World

Jiang Xue was born into a loving family, but her parents were anti-narcotics police officers. When she was in fourth grade, they went on a mission to the border and were tragically exposed and killed. She went to live with her uncle’s family, where her aunt resented her and considered her a jinx. From the time she started middle school, she lived at school and stayed with her best friend Liu Shanshan’s family during holidays. Fortunately, Liu Shanshan’s mother treated her like her own daughter. After starting high school, she never returned to her uncle’s home. Later, she met a few people who brought her brief moments of happiness, only to leave her, each time in what she thought was an accident. The first Sunday after graduating from high school and getting into university, her best friend and her family also died in an accident. She eventually made her own way in life and met Du Lingcheng, whose background was similar to hers. They fell in love. Du Lingcheng was a special police officer. Just as they were preparing to marry and rely on each other for the rest of their lives, Du Lingcheng was transferred to the border. Jiang Xue tried to make him stay, but he was determined, and in the end she gave in. Du Lingcheng never made it home alive.
