The Fleshless Wanderer

Civilization has collapsed, and hordes of corpses roam the land. No one alive remains whole. I have lost my skin, body heat, and heartbeat. A dry skeleton, I wander the barren wastes. Ordinary mutated beings have brittle, depleted bones that shatter with a single blow. Only my body can heal itself. Scavengers, patrol troops, and mutated monsters take turns blocking my path. Underground research facilities hold the secret at the root of the catastrophe. A lone skeleton searches for the answer to its own existence in a wasteland where humanity and decay intertwine.
