Lin Feng, a top student from Tsinghua University on modern-day Earth, unexpectedly transmigrated to Yan, a backward country plagued by frequent natural disasters, where he became an international student subjected to constant bullying. Faced with discrimination in a foreign land and the timidity of his fellow countrymen, he was the first to strike back, armed with modern knowledge and conviction.
From establishing his strength on campus and outsmarting his opponents to uniting Yanese students in a mutual-aid alliance, Lin Feng planned every move carefully. He used modern technology to improve people’s lives and give back to his homeland, drew on his international perspective to break through diplomatic barriers, and used the lessons of civilization to awaken his countrymen’s dignity and fighting spirit. The companionship and growth of his adopted younger sister, Lin Xi, also helped him understand that being Yanese was about more than blood.
This is a passionate underdog-to-hero epic. Witness how an all-around genius brings the seeds of another world’s civilization to ignite a nation’s awakening, turning backward Yan into an unshakable force in the East on the world stage.
