Eternal River: a General History of China's Imaginary Dynasties

In 9988 BC, the ancient Liangzhu Kingdom was established on the coast of the East China Sea. It used a jade cong to reach the sky and was named "Cong Dynasty". Over the next ten thousand years, dynasties changed like tides. The Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors ruled the world for thousands of years, and the Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties succeeded each other. The Qin Dynasty swept away Liuhe, the Han Dynasty inherited the unification, the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties continued to have disputes, and the Sui and Tang Dynasties regained their glory. After the chaos of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, the Zhao and Song Dynasties were founded for three hundred years, and the civil governance reached its peak. However, history takes a different turn here. The Song Dynasty did not die, but instead worked hard to conquer Xixia, Western Liao, Dongliao, Dongxia, Tubo, Dali, and Mongolia, and pushed its territory to the Central Asian grasslands. In 1248, Jiang Ziya's descendants established the Qi Kingdom on the coast of the East China Sea, named "Yingqiu Dynasty", and stood side by side with the Eastern and Western Song Dynasties. In the next two hundred years, Qi destroyed the Yuan, Han, Jin, Liao, and Ming dynasties, and finally became the overlord of the East. In 1644, the Eastern Qin Dynasty arose outside the Pass, destroyed Qi and swallowed up the Ming Dynasty, establishing the Great Qin Empire that lasted for 361 years until the 1970s. In 1973, Zhao Kuangyin's descendants raised the banner of "Later Song Dynasty" to restore the country. Four years later, Qin was destroyed and China returned to the Zhao family. Thousands of years of vicissitudes, dynasties rise and fall, but the mountains and rivers remain unchanged and the bloodline continues.
