On the Canglan Continent, nine rule-level dragon veins govern heaven and earth.
Mo Yang is a collateral descendant of the Mo family in Qinglan Town, a remote corner of the Northern Region. He has mediocre talent and is looked down upon.
When a visiting elder in charge of recruitment unexpectedly stops to take notice of him, Mo Yang is brought to Qingxiu Sect as a servant.
He has no idea that he carries a secret forgotten for a thousand years:
When nine ancient heroes sealed away a demon, they were cursed with forgetfulness. Their descendants split into two factions: one accepted oblivion, while the other sought to restore their names.
And Mo Yang is the one who will break the spell of forgetfulness.
