Cheng Lin is a transmigrator from the modern world, where he was an ordinary overworked office drone. Mature in mind, laid-back in attitude, and cynical and scheming by nature, he loves slacking off and dislikes drawing attention. He is good at playing the pig to eat the tiger and has a natural comic streak. He is the only legitimate son of the Cheng family, the top clan in the Dragon Kingdom, whose standing is beyond compare. Both his parents are holders of the era's most powerful Mythic-class professions, towering figures who defend the Dragon Kingdom. Their influence, strength, and resources are unrivaled throughout the nation.
