Journey to the East

"Journey to the East" is not a fairy tale in the traditional sense, but a modern epic with the prototype of the characters in "Journey to the West" as its soul and China's reform and opening up to the present (1978-2026) as its time and space background. The story transplants the spiritual core of the scripture-seeking team into the current of social change in contemporary China, and tells the story of a group of souls with "memories of past lives" and special missions who complete a new-era "scripture-seeking journey" about "reform, growth, and redemption" in the human world.
