The Nine Emperors Pagoda

[Alt Account of a Top Author] [Traditional Fantasy] [Swordsmanship Prodigy] [Nine Empresses]

[Small Ensemble Cast]

Ye Xuan, a young general of the Great Qian Dynasty, possessed five supreme treasures. Framed on false charges, he had his treasures dug out by an empress and his meridians stolen by an imperial prince. In a single night, a genius became a cripple.

His family was heartless. They had enjoyed Ye Xuan's opportunities and benefited from his kindness, but the moment he lost his power, they stripped him of his position as heir, executed his parents and younger sister, and cast him out.

His fiancee was merciless. After awakening her domineering bloodline, she no longer had eyes for Ye Xuan. She sent a letter of divorce to the Ye residence, decisively abandoning the childhood bond they had once shared.

Ye Xuan said, "The hatred of having my bones stripped away, the betrayal, the humiliation of having our engagement broken off: I, Ye Xuan, will remember it all. The sun and moon will turn, and though I have lost today, one day I may yet become a supreme ruler."

In a fit of rage, the young man entered the Nine Emperors Tower.

The tower had nine levels, each containing a great emperor.

There, he gained a demonic foundation, a void dantian, a sword inheritance, secret alchemy arts, and the supreme way of formations.

When the young man emerged from the tower, the winds and clouds changed, and the Nine Saints bowed before him.

"A golden-scaled creature is no mere pond fish. When the winds and clouds shift, it becomes a dragon. I, Ye Xuan, am that true dragon." Ye Xuan challenged the heavens: Who would dare fight him?

From that day on, he beat geniuses with his fists, kicked holy sons aside, reclaimed the treasures taken by the empress, and destroyed his family. His fiancee knelt and begged for forgiveness.

Ye Xuan said, "If you knew this day would come, why do it in the first place? I, Ye Xuan, never go back to an old flame."
