1975: I Hunt and Support My Family in Huangtuling

In the cold winter of 1975, Huangtuling Village was deep in famine. The honest farmer Zhang Dehou kept life-saving food in his home but did not dare to eat it, causing his son to starve to death; the old hunter Shen Wanshan generously taught Zhang Zi hunting skills and cleverly handled the commune's food search. Under the desperate situation of survival and high political pressure, the two families work together to survive in the snowy and famine years, waiting for the turn of fate.
